Taxonomy
Eutomoceras rarum was named by Arkadiev and Vavilov (1989). Its type specimen is N34/321 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Artist-Agatyn-Yurege Creek, rotelliforme zone, Kengdey river basin (LGM coll), which is in an Illyrian marine siliciclastic in the Russian Federation.
