Glassoceras bransonorum
Taxonomy
Stacheoceras bransonorum was named by Miller and Cline (1934). Its type specimen is SUI 704 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Raymond Canyon, Goniatite beds, Sublette Range, Lincoln County, which is in a Roadian offshore shale in the Meade Peak Formation of Idaho.
It was recombined as Glassoceras bransonorum by Bogoslovskaya (1990) and Leonova (2002).
