Taxonomy
Dielasma rectimarginatum was named by Cooper (1957). Its type specimen is USNM 125414 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UO 2201-1, Grindstone-Twelvemile Creek area, which is in a Kungurian marine limestone/sandstone in the Coyote Butte Formation of Oregon.
