Tainoceras duttoni
Taxonomy
Tainoceras duttoni was named by Hyatt (1893). Its type specimen is MCZ 8804, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Zuni Plateau, 12-15 miles SW of Grants, which is in a Kungurian marine horizon in the San Andres Formation of New Mexico.
