Taxonomy
Timanotrypa stelliporata was named by Kruchinina (1973). Its type specimen is VNIGRI 72/916 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Indiga River, Nerminskaya Gorizont, northern Timan, which is in an Artinskian carbonate limestone in the Nerminskaya Formation of the Russian Federation.
