Taxonomy
Phasmomimoides baissiense was named by Sharov (1968). Its type specimen is PIN 1989/2585, a forewing (Whole forewing), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Baissa (PIN collection 1989), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large siltstone/marl in the Zaza Formation of the Russian Federation.
