Taxonomy

Kamia angustovenosa was named by Martynov (1928). Its type specimen is PIN 2065/2(11), a wing (fragment of a wing), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Tikhie Gory (PIN collection 2065), which is in a Roadian lagoonal claystone in the Baitugan Formation of the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Kamia.

Synonyms

Permacridites maximus was named by Martynov (1931). Its type specimen is PIN 2295/5, a forewing (missing base & apex), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Tikhie Gory (PIN collection 2295), which is in a Roadian lagoonal claystone in the Baitugan Formation of the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Permacridites.

It was synonymized subjectively with Kamia angustovenosa by Sharov (1968).
Spongoneura incerta was named by Martynov (1928). Its type specimen is PIN 2065/24(31), a wing (fragment of a wing), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Tikhie Gory (PIN collection 2065), which is in a Roadian lagoonal claystone in the Baitugan Formation of the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Spongoneura.

It was synonymized subjectively with Kamia angustovenosa by Sharov (1968).
