Mooreoceras giganteum

Taxonomy
Mooreoceras gigantea was named by Clifton (1942). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Quanah, Hardeman County, which is in a Kungurian shallow subtidal limestone in the Blaine Formation of Texas.

It was corrected as Mooreoceras giganteum by Miller and Youngquist (1949) and Shimanskiy (1954).
