Glaphyrophlebia ovata
Taxonomy
Pursa ovata was named by Sellards (1909) [Neotype, original holotype (Sellards 1126) lost]. Its type specimen is MCZ 4965, a wing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Elmo, Sellards collection, which is in an Artinskian pond limestone in the Wellington Formation of Kansas.
It was recombined as Glaphyrophlebia ovata by Carpenter (1966), Hörnschemeyer and Stapf (2001) and Aristov et al. (2022).
