Goldfieldia pacifica

Taxonomy
Goldfieldia pacifica was named by Palmer (1964). Its type specimen is USNM 144264, a cephalon/head (cranidium), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USGS 3748-CO, northeast of Gold Point, which is in a Dyeran carbonate sandstone/limestone in the Harkless Formation of Nevada. It is the type species of Goldfieldia.
