Taxonomy
Nadiptera kaluginae was named by Lukashevich (1995). Its type specimen is PIN 1361/1, a wing (left wing), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Kysyltam, Ketmen Mountains, PIN collection 1361, which is in a Carnian terrestrial siliciclastic in the Koldzat Formation of Kazakhstan. It is the type species of Nadiptera.
