Tanus triassicus
Taxonomy
Tanus triassicus was named by Krzemiński and Krzemińska (2003) [Institut de Géologie de l’Université Louis Pasteur, Strasbourg, France]. Its type specimen is 5336, an exoskeleton (complete male fly), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Arzviller, which is in an Aegean delta plain claystone/siltstone in the Grès à Voltzia Formation of France.
