Taxonomy
Ramipora lepida was named by Morozova (1986). Its type specimen is PIN 3947/451 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kongressdalen, Grin Garbur, Ausfjord Region, Spitsbergen, which is in a Kungurian marine horizon in the Kapp Starostin Formation of Svalbard and Jan Mayen.
