Taxonomy
Tabulipora aberrans was named by Morozova (1986). Its type specimen is PIN 2437/184 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Alfreda Mountain, T. 257/F-1, Bjornoya, which is in a Kungurian marine limestone in the Kapp Starostin Formation of Norway.
