Taxonomy
Nevadisculites depressus was named by Bucher (1992). Its type specimen is USNM 448251 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Favret Canyon HB 166, Augusta Mountains, which is in a Pelsonian marine horizon in the Favret Formation of Nevada.
