Halictus savenyei

Taxonomy
Halictus savenyei was named by Engel and Archibald (2003). Its type specimen is Q-0424a&b, an exoskeleton (complete body with fragmentary wings), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Quilchena (SFU collection), which is in a Ypresian lacustrine - large mudstone in the Coldwater Beds Formation of Canada.
