Taxonomy
Cyclotrypa ogbinensis was named by Morozova (1965). Its type specimen is PIN 1613/264 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ogbin 2, Gnishik Fm, Dzhagra River, which is in a Wordian marine horizon in the Gnishik Formation of Armenia.
