Taxonomy
Eridopora rara was named by Morozova (2004). Its type specimen is PIN 4890/12 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UQ L2575, Fossil Ridge, Cracow Homestead, which is in an Artinskian coastal siliciclastic in the Buffel Formation of Australia.
