Taxonomy
Annuliconcha kitakamiensis was named by Murata (1964). Its type specimen is IGPS 22389 and is a mold. Its type locality is Imo, IGPS It044, Yahagi, Rikuzentakata City, Iwate Prefecture, which is in a Roadian marine siliciclastic in the Kanokura Formation of Japan.
