Microceratodus angolensis

Taxonomy
Ceratodus angolensis was named by Texeira (1947). Its type specimen is IICT MT 73, a skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Lutoa, Baixa do Cassange, which is in a Triassic lacustrine siliciclastic in the Camadas com peixes Formation of Angola.

It was recombined as Microceratodus angolensis by Martin (1982), Thomson (1990) and Schultze (2004).
