Vacunella dawsonensis

Taxonomy
Vacunella dawsonensis was named by Runnegar (1967). Its type specimen is UQ F51000, a shell, and it is a mold. Its type locality is Quarry along highway north of Theodore, Bowen Basin, which is in a Wuchiapingian coastal siliciclastic in the Flat Top Formation of Australia.

It was recombined as Australomya dawsonensis by Runnegar (1969).
