Vulcagrion propedemontanum

Taxonomy
Diplax propedemontana was named by Piton (1935). Its type specimen is MNHN-LP-B.47301, a wing, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Lac Chambon (Piton coll), which is in a Gelasian crater lake diatomite/volcaniclastic in France.

It was recombined as Vulcagrion propedamontanum by Nel and Paicheler (1993); it was recombined as Vulcagrion propedemontanum by Nel and Paicheler (1994) and Nel et al. (1996).
