Taxonomy
Garazhovka triassica was named by Novokshonov (2002). Its type specimen is PIN 3320/39, a hindwing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Garazhovka (PIN collection 3320), which is in a Norian lacustrine - small claystone in the Protopivka Formation of Ukraine. It is the type species of Garazhovka.
