Phenacolestes coloratus
Taxonomy
Lestes coloratus was named by Hagen (1848). It is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Radoboj (Grätz Collection), which is in a Sarmatian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal limestone in Croatia.
It was recombined as Agrion (Lestes) coloratum by Heer (1849); it was recombined as Phenacolestes coloratus by Pongrácz (1928), Nel and Paicheler (1994) and Archibald et al. (2021).
