Taxonomy
Mesorthopterina bona was named by Storozhenko (1996). Its type specimen is PIN 1361/157, a forewing (without apical part and anal area), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Kysyltam, Ketmen Mountains, PIN collection 1361, which is in a Carnian terrestrial siliciclastic in the Koldzat Formation of Kazakhstan.
