Ancyropyge was named by Clark (1891) [Sepkoski's age data: D Eife D Give-l Sepkoski's reference number: 421,1106]. It is not extant.

It was assigned to Corynexochida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Styginidae by Jell and Adrain (2002).
