It was recombined as Bellerophon (Pharkidonotus) khairliensis by Yochelson (1960); it was misspelled as Bellerophon khairlensis by Taraz (1969) and Termier et al. (1974); it was recombined as Pharkidonotus khairliensis by Wagner (2023).
