It was reranked as Bonnia by Resser (1936), Palmer and Halley (1979), Jell and Adrain (2002) and Sepkoski (2002).

It was assigned to Corynexochus by Walcott (1916); to Trilobita by Resser (1936); to Dorypygidae by Palmer and Halley (1979) and Jell and Adrain (2002); and to Corynexochida by Sepkoski (2002).
