Taxonomy
Miomatoneura palaeozoica was named by Kukalová (1963). Its type specimen is Charles Univ 156/1962, a forewing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Obora, quarry near Obora-Jabloňany road, which is in an Asselian lacustrine - small shale in the Letovice Formation of the Czech Republic.
