Elmocladus strictus

Taxonomy
Opisthocladus strictus was named by Carpenter (1976). Its type specimen is MCZ 5881, a forewing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Elmo, MCZ 1927 collection, which is in an Artinskian pond limestone in the Wellington Formation of Kansas. It is the type species of Elmocladus.

It was recombined as Elmocladus strictus by Rasnitsyn and Aristov (2021).
