Adeloneura thompsoni
Taxonomy
Adeloneura thompsoni was named by Carpenter (1938). Its type specimen is MCZ 4538, a forewing (probable forewing), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Wilmington strip mine, Mazon Creek, which is in a Westphalian D interdistributary bay mudstone in the Carbondale Formation of Illinois. It is the type species of Adeloneura.
