Taxonomy
Aboilus cellulosus was named by Martynov (1937). Its type specimen is PIN KK 1/9, a forewing (distal part of a male forewing), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Kyzyl-Kiya, which is in a Pliensbachian lacustrine - small siliciclastic in Kyrgyzstan.
