Taxonomy
Pseudozygopleura (Stephanozyga) nishimurai was named by Kase (1988) [Pseudozygopleura (Stephanozyga) nishimurai]. It is not extant. Its type locality is Onimarua Quarry, Ofunato City, which is in a Visean carbonate sandstone in the Hikoroichi Formation of Japan.
