Diagnosis
ReferenceDiagnosis
J. D. Longstaff 1933Shell moderately elongated, conical, having about eleven whorls. Whorls high, sub-angular below, flattened laterally, narrowly adpressed and somewhat swollen below the suture, with a fine thread on the upper edge. Surface ornamented on the early whorls by slightly oblique fine ribs running from suture to suture; on the later whorls these ribs only remain strong above and become divided and finer below, so that on the body-whorl they are merged with fine curved lines of growth. Base smooth and moderately produced. Aperture ovate, columella arcuated and slightly thickened.
