Zygopleura swalloviana
Taxonomy
Chemnitzia swalloviana was named by Shumard (1859) [Chemnitzia Swalloviana]. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is White limestone of the Guadalupe Mountains, which is in a Capitanian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Capitan Formation of Texas.
It was recombined as Zygopleura swallowiana by Girty (1908); it was recombined as Zygopleura swalloviana by Yochelson and Saunders (1967).
