Taxonomy
Ademosyne speciosa was named by Riek (1974). Its type specimen is N-U.U. 1206ab, an elytra, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Umkomaas Valley (Umk 111), which is in a Carnian channel shale in the Molteno Formation of South Africa.
