Taxonomy
Pecten (Pseudamussium) diktuotum was named by Gardner (1926). Its type specimen is USNM 352454, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USGS Loc. 9961 - Horse Creek [Oak Grove Sand], which is in a Burdigalian marine sandstone in the Oak Grove Formation of Florida.
It was recombined as Cyclopecten diktuotus by Waller (2011).
