Orthophlebia liassica

Taxonomy
Panorpa liassica was named by Mantell (1844). Its type specimen is MPG 4523 & 4524, a forewing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Wainlode Cliff (Museum for Practical Geology coll), which is in a Rhaetian marine sandstone in the United Kingdom.

It was recombined as Orthophlebia (Orthophlebia) liassica by Hong and Zhang (2007); it was recombined as Orthophlebia liassica by Tillyard (1933), Martynova (1948), Willmann (1977), Willmann (1978) and Soszyńska-Maj et al. (2018).
