Acidaspidina was named by Lazerenko (1960) [Sepkoski's age data: Cm Dres-u Cm Fran-l Sepkoski's reference number: 618]. It is not extant. Its type is Acidaspidina plana.
It was assigned to Eoacidaspididae by Bruton (1983); to Lichakephalidae by Thomas and Holloway (1988) and Jell and Adrain (2002); and to Odontopleurida by Sepkoski (2002).
