Taxonomy
Syrdenites stoyanowi was named by Nassichuk et al. (1965). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Dorasham 2, Dzhulfian Stage, which is in a Wuchiapingian marine horizon in the Julfa Formation of Azerbaijan.
It was recombined as Eumedlicottia stoyanowi by Zakharov et al. (2008).
