Kirgisella ornata
Taxonomy
Kirgisella ornata was named by Martynov (1925). Its type specimen is PIN 1775/12, a forewing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Karatau-Galkino (PIN collection 2452), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large siltstone in the Karabastau Formation of Kazakhstan.
It was recombined as Kirgisellodes ornata by Martynov (1937) and Martynova (1949).
