Tongluceras canadense

Taxonomy
Waagenoceras canadensis was named by Nassichuk (1977). Its type specimen is GSC 42278 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Locality B, GSC locality 79412, which is in a Wordian open shallow subtidal grainstone in the Horsefeed Formation of Canada.

It was recombined as Mexicoceras canadense by Bogoslovskaya (1990); it was recombined as Tongluceras canadense by Leonova (2002) and Leonova (2010).
