Triproetus spitsbergensis

Taxonomy
Ditomopyge spitsbergensis was named by Osmólska (1968). Its type specimen is ZNG Kr. 1213/560, a pygidium, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Treskelen, Creek IV, Hornsund, which is in an Asselian marine limestone in the Treskelodden Formation of Svalbard and Jan Mayen.

It was recombined as Triproetus spitsbergensis by Owens (2003).
