Taxonomy
Sinotitanoceras giganteus was named by Pan (1983). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Xunchang, Bed 3, Gongxian County, which is in a Kungurian carbonate limestone in the Qixia Formation of China. It is the type species of Sinotitanoceras.
