Taxonomy
Notospirifer undulatus was named by Parfrey (1986). Its type specimen is GSQ F12936 and is a mold. Its type locality is GSQ L2261, Prospect Creek, which is in a Kungurian marine siliciclastic in the Camboon Formation of Australia.
It was recombined as Kelsovia undulata by Clarke (1992).
