Taxonomy
Dyoros semicircularis was named by Afanasjeva (1991). Its type specimen is PIN 3385/517 and is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Khovsgol Somon, Unit 2, which is in an Artinskian marine horizon in the Khovsgol Formation of Mongolia.
