Taxonomy
Paeckelmanella latissima was named by Pavlova (1991). Its type specimen is PIN 3385/403 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Khovsgol Somon, Unit 9, which is in a Kungurian marine shale/limestone in the Khovsgol Formation of Mongolia.
