Sphenacanthus sanpauloensis

Taxonomy
Sphenacanthus sanpauloensis was named by Chahud et al. (2010). Its type specimen is GP/2T-204, an other (finspine), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Rio Cabeça, Santa Maria Homestead, which is in a Kungurian lacustrine sandstone in the Irati Formation of Brazil.
