Syndesmophora composita
Taxonomy
Syndesmophora composita was named by Martynov (1937). Its type specimen is PIN 100/19, a wing (fragment of deformed forewing), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Kargala (PIN collection 100), which is in a Capitanian terrestrial mudstone in the Amanak Formation of the Russian Federation.
It was recombined as Syndesmorpha composita by Martynov (1937) and Aristov (2004); it was synonymized subjectively with Megakhosara fasciipennis by Storozhenko (1993) and Storozhenko (1998).
