Taxonomy
Hayasakapora minuta was named by Romantchuk (1976). Its type specimen is DVTGU 8M112/2 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ekshandya-Dar'ya Interfluve, Utanak River Basin, which is in a Capitanian carbonate limestone in the Oskhtinskaya Formation of the Russian Federation.
